Mobile Media Archive
Mobile Media Club 2 (2002-2003) adopted a specific focus on young people in danger of social exclusion. Reaching over 1000 participants, by working in partnership with 22 schools and organisations, mainly in the Parks and Penhill areas of Swindon, the club developed a range of artistic, technical and personal skills in primary and secondary school students. Students made films, using personal stories.
Ranging from one day digital photography sessions to a three month long, 102 participant, This is Me! project, participants learnt specific media techniques, and developed their skills in literacy, teamworking, planning and problem solving abilities.
