Mobile Media and Flux
Mobile Media at Create Studios is a youth arts project which has worked with young people in Swindon since 1999. In October 2006 it was asked to deliver the digital arts strand of the unique 3-year Flux project (named by the North Swindon teenagers!), which delivers arts activities to North Swindon.
Mobile Media has enabled this delivery in the form of a very large airstream vehicle entitled the Fluxmobile! The Fluxmobile houses a state-of-the-art Mobile Media studio with laptops, editing software and a sound studio, and visits North Swindon schools running curriculum digital art courses, and also drop-ins at youth clubs and festivals .
